The brief
The holiday party is the one event the whole company photographs
A year-end party is the company’s thank-you to its people, and the one evening when everyone from every department is in the same room with a phone out. The decor has to look like the company cared: a photo wall, a room that feels festive rather than seasonal-aisle, and something to do besides eat.
Event Creation designs corporate holiday parties at venues, restaurants, hotels and offices across Toronto and the GTA. A 12 ft balloon garland is listed on this website from $250, a shimmer wall with balloons from $420, ceiling balloons from $250, balloon centrepieces from $20 per table, a classic photo booth from $410 and a 360 video booth from $400.
We plan around the venue’s run of show, the catering and the AV, and we install and strike within the venue’s window.

Venues
Hotels, restaurants, event venues and offices
Hotel ballrooms and event venues in downtown Toronto, Mississauga and Vaughan take the full design with a dance floor and a DJ. Restaurant private rooms in North York, Markham and Etobicoke take a backdrop, centrepieces and a booth within the restaurant’s rules.
Office parties book a backdrop, a dessert table and a booth in the largest space, set up after hours.
December is the busiest month; we confirm dates early and coordinate strike with the venue’s next-day schedule.

Before you book
What we need for the proposal
Send these with the brief and we can scope it in one reply.
- Date, venue, headcount and the run of show.
- Brand guidelines: logo files, colours and any rules about how the brand appears.
- The objective and who the guests are: staff, clients, press, public.
- Load-in and strike windows, loading dock, elevator and power.
- AV and catering partners we should coordinate with.
- Whether photos and video will be taken, and from where.
Programme
Entertainment that works for a mixed company crowd
A classic booth with a branded overlay is the safest crowd-pleaser; a 360 booth gets the younger half of the company on the floor. A DJ who reads a mixed crowd and an MC for the awards and the speeches.
Live music for arrivals, cold spark for the toast and an audio guest book for messages to the team.
For family holiday events, see appreciation events; for galas, see galas and award ceremonies.
