Most events have one wall where everyone ends up taking pictures. A balloon backdrop makes that wall intentional: a base, a balloon design and the personal details, sized so the people in the photo are framed rather than lost.
Event Creation builds backdrops for homes, condo party rooms, banquet halls, offices and outdoor venues across Toronto and the GTA. We bring the base, the balloons, the stand and the tools, install before guests arrive and take it all down afterwards where the listing includes takedown.

Choosing the base behind the balloons
Full balloon wall
A wall made entirely of balloons in two or three colours, 6.6 ft wide by 5 ft or 6.6 ft tall. It is the boldest option and the one that photographs most clearly from a phone across the room.
Shimmer wall with balloons
A sequin panel that catches light and movement, with a garland on one side or both. Gold, silver, rose gold and black are the usual choices. It suits milestone birthdays, engagement parties and New Year’s Eve.
Green wall with balloons
A boxwood-style panel with a garland and a neon or wood sign. It reads as fresh and outdoorsy and works for baby showers, bridal showers and daytime events.
Wood panel and square stand
A plain or ripple wood panel for a warmer, more neutral look, or a square metal stand for a modern frame. Both take a one-sided garland and a sign.
Complete balloon setup
When you want the whole room done, we combine the backdrop with a garland on the dessert table, ceiling or floor balloons and centrepieces, and quote it as one design so the colours stay consistent.

Venues
Fitting a backdrop into Toronto rooms
A 6.6 x 5 ft backdrop fits under the standard eight-foot ceiling of most condo party rooms in North York, Scarborough and downtown Toronto. The 6.6 ft tall version needs a little more clearance and suits halls in Vaughan, Markham and Mississauga.
Backdrops stand on their own frames, so nothing is attached to the venue’s walls. Leave about three feet in front of the backdrop for guests to stand and a clear path on one side for the photographer or the photo booth.
For outdoor setups we use weighted bases and air-filled balloons, and we ask about wind and shade before confirming. A tent or a wall behind the backdrop makes a big difference to how long it looks fresh.

Occasions
Backdrops for showers, birthdays, weddings and corporate events
Baby showers and gender reveals usually take the green wall or a pastel balloon wall with an Oh Baby sign. Bridal showers and engagement parties lean toward the shimmer wall in gold or rose gold with the couple’s names.
For corporate events, product launches and brand activations, the square stand or a balloon wall in brand colours with a logo panel is the standard request. We build it to the brand guide you send.
Milestone birthdays combine a black or chrome shimmer wall with marquee numbers; kids’ birthdays take a bright balloon wall with the theme characters on the balloons.

How much does a balloon backdrop cost in Toronto?
Our balloon wall is listed from $380, the green wall with balloons from $380 and the shimmer wall with balloons from $420. A complete room setup with backdrop, garland and ceiling or floor balloons is quoted as one design, and we confirm the figure in writing.
What size backdrop do I need?
For most parties a 6.6 x 6.6 ft backdrop frames two to four people comfortably. The 6.6 x 5 ft size suits rooms with low ceilings. For a stage or a large hall, two panels side by side give a 13 ft wall.
Can I rent the shimmer wall without balloons?
Yes. The shimmer wall panel on its own is listed from $120 and the grass wall from $250 under event extras, with delivery arranged for your date.
Do you attach anything to the venue walls?
No. Every backdrop stands on its own frame, so there is no tape, hooks or damage. That also means we can place it wherever the light and the photos work best.
How long does installation take?
A single backdrop with a garland usually takes 60 to 90 minutes on site. A full room setup takes longer, and we schedule the access time with the venue when we confirm.
Is delivery included?
The balloon wall, shimmer wall and green wall listings include delivery and installation. The listings note that delivery, installation and takedown may vary with the event’s location and time; your quote states what is covered.
Can you add my logo or a name?
Yes. Logos print onto a panel or a statement balloon, names and ages go on balloons or a neon sign, and acrylic welcome signs can be made to match. Send the artwork with your inquiry.
Can the backdrop go outdoors?
Yes, with a weighted base, air-filled balloons and a sheltered spot. We ask about wind, shade and a backup indoor position before confirming an outdoor setup.
Which areas do you cover?

How far ahead should I book a backdrop?
Once your date and venue are fixed, the sooner the better. Spring and summer weekends and December book first. For a short-notice date, call and we will tell you what is possible.
