Columns say where the party starts
Two balloon columns either side of a door, a stage or a storefront do a simple job well: they mark the entrance and frame whatever stands between them. They are also the most portable piece of balloon decoration, which is why trade shows, grand openings and school events use them.
Event Creation builds columns from five to ten feet tall in classic spiral, organic and branded styles, and installs them at venues across Toronto and the GTA. Columns are quoted per pair or per column depending on height, style and topper.
Each column stands on a weighted base, so nothing is attached to the venue and the pair can be moved during the event.

Four colours in a spiral around a frame, with a 36 inch balloon or a foil shape on top. The traditional look for openings, graduations and school events.
Organic pillar
Mixed sizes and finishes in a sculpted, irregular column without a visible pattern. Matches an organic garland or arch.
Branded column
Brand colours with a printed logo balloon or a logo topper. Used at trade shows, launches and storefronts.
Letter and number columns
A column with a foil letter or number on top, or a run of columns that spells a word across a stage.

Venues
Columns at entrances, stages and storefronts
Indoor columns stand five to eight feet and suit hall entrances, stage edges and the corners of a backdrop. Outdoor columns at a storefront or a school gate use heavier bases and air-filled balloons, and we choose finishes that handle sun.
Columns are moved easily, so one pair can frame the entrance for arrivals and then the stage for speeches. Tell us the schedule and we plan the move.
For trade shows and exhibitions, columns are built on site during the move-in window and removed at move-out.

You receive a written quote. Once you approve it, your date is held and we confirm access times with the venue.

We deliver and install before guests arrive, check sightlines and photo angles, and leave the room ready.

Takedown
Where takedown is part of your listing, we return after the event and remove everything, frames included.

Occasions
Columns for openings, graduations, launches and parties
Grand openings, storefront decor and trade shows are the classic column occasions. Graduations use school colours with a cap topper.
Kids’ birthdays take themed toppers; corporate holiday parties use metallic spirals at the entrance.

Height, pricing and placement.
How are balloon columns priced?
Per column or per pair, by height, style and topper. A classic spiral pair costs less than organic pillars or branded columns with a logo. Tell us the space and we quote the pair in writing.
How tall are balloon columns?
Most are five to eight feet. Ten-foot columns are built for halls with the ceiling height and for outdoor storefronts.
Can columns go outside?
Yes, with heavy bases, air-filled balloons and finishes that handle sun. We ask about wind and shade before confirming.
Can you put a logo on a column?
Yes. A printed logo balloon or a logo topper in brand colours. Send the artwork and the brand colours with your inquiry.
Can columns be moved during the event?
Yes. They stand on weighted bases and are easy to move from the entrance to the stage. Tell us the schedule.
Do you install at trade shows?
Yes, during the move-in window, and we remove at move-out. We follow the venue’s rules for decor.
Can I rent a balloon column instead?
Columns are built fresh for each event rather than rented, so they match your colours. The quote covers build, delivery, installation and takedown.
How long do columns last?
Air-filled columns hold for days indoors. Outdoors, sun and wind shorten that, so we install close to the start time.
Which areas do you serve?

How far ahead should I book?
A week or two for a pair; longer for branded columns that need printed balloons.
