What we do
Music is half of how a room feels
A room can be decorated perfectly and still feel flat if the sound is wrong: a DJ who does not read the crowd, a speaker in the wrong corner, a band that drowns the speeches. Event Creation books DJs, live musicians and dancers alongside the decor so the sound, the lighting and the design are planned together.
We book for weddings, engagement and mehndi events, birthdays and Sweet 16s, corporate parties, galas, cultural celebrations and community events across Toronto and the GTA. Performers are quoted by set length, equipment and travel.
Every booking includes a planning call for the timeline, the must-plays and the moments that need timing: entrances, the first dance, speeches, the cake.

Venues
Sound in halls, restaurants, tents and homes
Banquet halls in Vaughan, Mississauga, Markham and Scarborough usually have a DJ area with power and sometimes a house system; we confirm which. Restaurants and condo party rooms downtown often have sound limits and a curfew, which decide the setup.
Tents and backyards need power and shelter for equipment; we plan both. Places of worship and community centres have their own rules for amplified music.
A sound check before guests arrive is part of every booking.

Before you book
Questions that make the quote exact
Answer these when you reach out.
- How many guests, and how many hours of music?
- Which styles, languages or specific songs matter, and which should be avoided?
- Does the venue have sound restrictions, a curfew or its own system?
- Where will the performer set up, and is there power nearby?
- Are there entrances, speeches or a first dance to time around?
- Indoor or outdoor, and is there shelter?

Questions
DJ and performance: frequently asked questions
Booking, equipment and timing.
How much does a DJ cost in Toronto?
DJs are quoted by hours, equipment and the occasion, with lighting and an MC option priced separately. Tell us the date and hours and we send a written quote.
Do your DJs bring their own equipment?
Yes. Sound, microphones and basic lighting are included; larger systems and dance lighting are quoted for big rooms.
Can the DJ play in more than one language?
Yes. We book DJs for English, Persian, Hindi and Punjabi, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese and mixed crowds. Tell us the languages and the mix.
Can I give the DJ a playlist?
Yes. A planning call covers must-plays, do-not-plays, the first dance, entrances and the mood for each part of the night.
Can you book live music and a DJ for the same event?
Yes. Live music for the ceremony or cocktail hour and a DJ for the reception is the usual combination.
Do you book dancers for cultural events?
Yes. Bollywood, bhangra, Persian, Latin and other groups for performances and teaching segments.
What if the venue has sound restrictions?
We confirm the limits and the curfew with the venue and size the system to them.
Can performers work outdoors?
Yes, with shelter for equipment and power nearby. We plan a rain option.
Which areas do you serve?
Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Oakville.
How far ahead should I book?
Six to twelve weeks for weddings and December parties; shorter for private parties.
