What we do
Guests decide what kind of event it is at the door
An entrance sets expectations. A floral arch at the hall door, a welcome sign on an easel, a pair of columns and a styled welcome table tell guests they have arrived somewhere planned. Without it, the first impression is the venue’s own corridor.
Event Creation designs entrance decor for weddings, engagement parties, showers, cultural celebrations, galas and corporate events across Toronto and the GTA. Florals, balloons, signage, draping and furniture are chosen to match the room inside.
Entrance designs are quoted as one piece by the elements chosen; individual pieces such as a circle arch from $280 or a green wall rental from $250 are listed on this website.

Venues
Entrances in halls, hotels, restaurants and homes
Banquet halls have wide double doors that take a full arch; hotel ballrooms often have a foyer where a welcome table and columns work better than an arch. Restaurants in downtown Toronto and North York usually allow an easel sign and a small floral piece at the host stand.
For home parties in Vaughan, Markham and Mississauga, the front door or the backyard gate is the entrance; a balloon arch and a sign are the standard pieces.
Outdoor entrances use weighted bases and silk florals; we ask about wind and shelter before confirming.

Occasions
Entrances for weddings, showers, galas and launches
Weddings use a floral arch and a welcome sign; engagements and bridal showers use a balloon or combined arch. Baby showers take a green wall with an Oh Baby sign at the door.
Galas, conferences and product launches use a branded step-and-repeat and columns. Grand openings add a ribbon-cutting setup.
Quinceañeras, Sweet 16s and mehndi events use an entrance in the party’s colours.

Questions
Entrance decor: frequently asked questions
What works at the door, and what it costs.
How much does entrance decoration cost?
It depends on the pieces. A balloon circle arch is listed from $280 and a green wall rental from $250; floral arches, signs and welcome tables are quoted together as one entrance design and confirmed in writing.
What should a wedding entrance include?
A welcome sign with the names and date, florals at its base, and either an arch or columns at the door. A seating chart and a card table usually sit just inside.
Can you decorate a hotel or restaurant entrance?
Yes, within the venue’s rules. Most allow free-standing pieces such as an easel sign, columns and a small arch; we confirm with the venue first.
Can the entrance arch move inside later?
Yes. An arch at the door for arrivals often becomes the photo backdrop or the stage piece later, and we plan the move.
Do you provide the welcome sign?
Yes. Acrylic, mirror, wood and neon signs with easels are designed to match the florals; see the welcome signs page.
Can the entrance decor go outdoors?
Yes, with weighted bases and silk florals; we ask about wind and shelter.
Do you set up a welcome table?
Yes. Linens, florals, a card box, the guest book and favours are styled as part of the entrance.
How long does the entrance take to install?
One to two hours for an arch, a sign and a table. We work within the venue’s setup window.
Which areas do you serve?
Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Oakville.
How far ahead should I book?
Two to four weeks for balloon and silk pieces; longer for fresh florals in peak season.
