What we do
Centrepieces are what guests look at for three hours
The backdrop gets the photos; the centrepieces get the evening. Guests sit in front of them, talk across them and photograph them with their plates. They need to match the room, suit the table and stay out of the way of conversation.
Event Creation designs floral centrepieces for weddings, showers, galas, corporate dinners and family celebrations across Toronto and the GTA, in fresh, silk or dried florals, with the vessels, candles and runners chosen alongside. We deliver and place every table.
Centrepieces are quoted per table by style, flower variety and size, with the head table and the cake table quoted separately.
The hero moment
Centrepiece styles
Low and lush
A full, low arrangement in a bowl or a compote so guests can see across the table. The most common choice for round tables.
Tall
Flowers raised on a stand or a tall vase, with the stem clear at eye level. Fills a hall with a high ceiling.
Mixed heights
Alternating tall and low pieces, or bud vases and candles in a cluster, for long tables and a relaxed look.
Garland runners
A greenery and flower runner down a long table, with candles between. Suits head tables and family-style dinners.
Dried and silk
Pampas, dried florals or silk pieces that can be kept or reused.

Venues
Centrepieces in halls, restaurants and tents
Banquet halls in Vaughan, Mississauga and Markham take tall pieces well because of the ceiling height; restaurants in downtown Toronto and North York usually need low pieces that fit between plates. Tents and outdoor dinners take weighted vessels and silk or dried florals in summer heat.
We coordinate with the venue’s setup window and with your caterer so tables are finished before place settings go down.
Guests usually take centrepieces home; we collect our vessels and stands unless you buy them.

Centrepieces for weddings, showers, galas and dinners
Weddings and engagement parties are the main occasion; bridal showers and baby showers take small low pieces on round tables.

Questions
Floral centrepieces: frequently asked questions
Per-table pricing, styles and logistics.
How much do floral centrepieces cost?
They are quoted per table by style, flower variety and size, with the head table and cake table priced separately. Tell us the table count and the palette and we quote the room in writing.
How do I make floral centrepieces for a wedding?
A simple bud vase cluster is a realistic DIY project for a small wedding. Thirty matching low arrangements in fresh flowers, delivered and placed on the day, is what people book us for.
Tall or low centrepieces?
Low for conversation and restaurants; tall for halls with high ceilings; mixed for long tables. We suggest the mix once we see the room.
Do you supply vases and candles?
Yes. Vessels, candle holders, runners and chargers are chosen with the flowers and included in the quote; you can also use your own.
Fresh or silk centrepieces?
Fresh for weddings and evening dinners; silk or dried for daytime, outdoor and long events, or if you want to keep them.
Can guests take the centrepieces home?
Yes. Tell us and we collect only our vessels and stands.
Do you coordinate with the caterer?
Yes. We place centrepieces before place settings go down and work within the venue’s setup window.
Can you match the centrepieces to the arch and backdrop?
Yes. We design them from the same flowers and colours so the room reads as one.
Which areas do you serve?
Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Oakville.
How far ahead should I book?
Four to eight weeks for fresh flowers at a wedding; silk and dried pieces can be booked on shorter notice.
