    What we do

A good DJ is a planner first and a performer second

The DJ controls the timeline of the night: when guests enter, when the speeches happen, when the floor opens and when it closes. Event Creation’s DJs plan the night with you first, then play it, with the sound and lighting sized to the room.

We book DJs for weddings, engagement and mehndi events, Sweet 16s, quinceañeras, milestone birthdays, corporate parties, galas and cultural celebrations across Toronto and the GTA. DJs are quoted by hours, equipment and the occasion.

Every booking includes a planning call, a sound check and an MC option for announcements and the running order.

DJ setups in halls, restaurants, tents and homes

Halls across the GTA have a DJ area with power; some have a house system we can use. Restaurants and condo party rooms often cap the volume and set a curfew, so we size the system down and plan the last song.

Backyard weddings and tent parties in Vaughan, Markham and Oakville need a dry, powered spot for the booth and a rain plan.

Setup takes about an hour before guests arrive, with a sound check.

Questions that make the quote exact

Answer these when you reach out.

    • How many guests, and how many hours of music?
    • Which styles, languages or specific songs matter, and which should be avoided?
    • Does the venue have sound restrictions, a curfew or its own system?
    • Where will the performer set up, and is there power nearby?
    • Are there entrances, speeches or a first dance to time around?
    • Indoor or outdoor, and is there shelter?

    Occasions

DJs for weddings, birthdays, corporate and cultural events

Weddings and engagement parties are the main bookings, often with live music for the ceremony. Sweet 16s, quinceañeras and teen parties book a DJ with an MC.

Corporate holiday parties, galas and appreciation events book a DJ for background and dancing. New Year’s Eve parties book a DJ with a countdown.

Mehndi and sangeet, Nowruz and Diwali events book DJs who know the music and the moments.
