Photo booth rental Toronto
Photo booth rental in Toronto, styled by a decor studio
Photo booth rental in Toronto from Event Creation covers four booths and one guest book: an open-air classic print booth from $410, a 360 video booth from $400, a full-length mirror booth and an audio guest book, both quoted per event. Every booth comes with an attendant, delivery, setup and takedown across Toronto and the GTA.
The difference is what stands around the booth. We are an event decor studio at 126 Willowdale Ave in North York, so the booth corner is designed with the rest of your room: a flower wall, a shimmer wall, a balloon garland or marquee numbers in your colours behind the guests. A booth in front of a blank wall gives passport photos; the same booth in a styled corner gives photos people frame.
A booth works when three things line up: where it stands, when it runs and what is behind the guests. Put it in a side room and nobody finds it. Open it during dinner and it sits idle. This page covers all three, the prices, and the questions we hear most before a booking.

Choosing a booth
Which photo booth suits your event?
Start with the guest list and the room, not the booth. Who is coming, how much floor space you have and what you want guests to take home decide the booth for you.
Prints for mixed ages: the classic booth
Grandparents, children and colleagues all understand a classic booth in two seconds. Guests leave with a print carrying your names or logo, and a table of eight fits in one frame because the booth is open-air. It needs about 8 x 8 ft and one outlet, so it fits restaurants and condo party rooms too.
Video for a dance floor: the 360 booth
A camera on a rotating arm circles up to five guests on a platform and sends a slow-motion clip to their phones. It suits milestone birthdays, Sweet 16s, graduations, wedding receptions and brand activations where guests post the same night. It needs a clear circle of about 10 x 10 ft and an eight foot ceiling.
Full-length photos for formal rooms: the mirror booth
A tall mirror guides the pose with animations and lets guests sign the photo before it prints. It suits hotel ballrooms, galas and weddings where gowns and suits deserve the whole frame.
Voices instead of photos: the audio guest book
A phone on a styled table records messages from every guest. It pairs with any booth, so each guest leaves a photo and a voice.
Still deciding? Our guide 360 photo booth or classic photo booth compares the two most booked options side by side.

Weddings
Wedding photo booths: timing, guest book and decor
For a wedding photo booth in Toronto, couples often book the classic booth for cocktail hour and the early reception, when guests are fresh and dressed at their sharpest, and the 360 booth once the dance floor opens. The mirror booth is the choice for black-tie rooms and full-length photos of the bridal party.
Agree the booth hours with your planner and photographer so it never competes with speeches, the first dance or the cake cutting. A book and pens beside the classic or mirror booth turns the prints into a guest book, and the audio guest book collects the messages people were too shy to say into a microphone.
Because we also design wedding decor, the booth backdrop can match your ceremony florals or reception palette. Our wedding photo booth planning guide has a full timeline.

Corporate events
Photo booths for corporate events and launches
For corporate events, the overlay with your logo is the detail that matters, because every shared print and clip carries the brand. Send artwork early in vector format and the correct colours, and we send a proof for approval. A step-and-repeat or a backdrop in brand colours goes behind the guests.
Place the booth where it will not block registration or the view of the stage, and tell us about loading dock bookings, security sign-in and elevator access so load-in runs on schedule. Corporate photo booth rental covers branding, office tower logistics and timing in detail, and our corporate event planner team can plan the whole event around it.
Parties
Birthdays, showers, graduations and cultural celebrations
For a birthday or a graduation, match the booth corner to the main backdrop so the photos feel like part of the same party. Milestone birthdays and Sweet 16s lean toward the 360 booth; kids’ parties toward the classic booth and its props, with an adult beside younger guests.
Baby showers and bridal showers take a classic or mirror booth in front of a flower wall. For Diwali, Eid, Nowruz, Lunar New Year and mehndi nights, the overlay and props follow the celebration, and families often add the audio guest book for blessings in several languages.
If you are pairing the booth with kids entertainment such as a magic show or a character visit, stagger them so guests never choose between two attractions at once.

Placement
Where to place a photo booth in a Toronto venue
Placement decides how busy your booth will be. The ideal spot is visible from the main room, close to the bar or the dance floor, and out of the path to the kitchen, washrooms and exits. Guests should see others having fun while they wait; a happy queue is an invitation.
Floor space and surface
The classic and mirror booths need about 8 x 8 ft; the 360 platform needs a clear circle of about 10 x 10 ft for the camera arm, plus room for stanchions and a short line. Send us the room dimensions or a floor plan and we confirm the footprint before the day.
Power, light and sound
Ask the venue for an outlet near the booth so cables do not cross walkways. Avoid placing a booth in front of a bright window. Near the DJ is good for energy; right beside a speaker is not, because guests and our attendant need to hear each other.
What is behind the guests
A 360 clip shows the whole room as the camera circles, so a decorated corner matters more than a flat backdrop. For the classic and mirror booths, a garland, a neon sign or a flower wall in your palette lifts every photo.
Timing
How many hours to book, and when to run them
Two hours suits a focused celebration such as a birthday dinner with dancing afterwards. Three hours covers most receptions and corporate socials. Four hours, or extra hours on the 360 package, makes sense for large guest lists or a long open-floor period.
The common mistake is to book too few hours and start the booth too early. Open it when guests are free to move: after dinner service and formalities, or during cocktail hour for a classic or mirror booth. Ask your MC or DJ to announce it once early and again when the dance floor fills.

Before you book
Venue details to confirm
Five minutes with your venue coordinator answers most of these.
- Is there a clear, level area indoors for the booth, and how large is it?
- Where is the nearest power outlet to that spot?
- What time can our team load in, and by when must equipment be out?
- Are there stairs, elevators or a loading dock between parking and the room?
- Does the venue have rules about equipment on dance floors, carpets or outdoor surfaces?
- If the event is outdoors, is there a covered, dry and level backup position?
- What time are dinner, speeches and formalities, so booth hours do not overlap them?
- Who supplies the logo or wording for the overlay, and by when?

Questions
Photo booth rental: frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most about renting a photo booth in Toronto and the GTA.
Cost
How much does it cost to rent a photo booth in Toronto?
Our classic photo booth starts from $410 for two hours and $490 for three hours. The 360 video booth starts from $400 for two hours, $500 for three and $600 for four, with extra hours from $150. The mirror booth and the audio guest book are quoted per event, and travel outside the GTA is extra.
Which photo booth has the lowest starting price?
The 360 video booth starts from $400 for two hours and the classic print booth from $410 for two hours, so the two are close. Choose by what you want guests to take home: a clip or a print.
How much is a photo booth for three hours?
The classic booth starts from $490 for three hours and the 360 video booth from $500, with the same inclusions as the two hour packages.
How much is a photo booth for four hours or more?
The 360 video booth starts from $600 for four hours, and each extra hour is from $150. Longer classic booth bookings are quoted with your date.
Why do photo booth prices vary between companies?
Prices depend on what is included: an attendant, unlimited prints, a designed backdrop, a red carpet, delivery, setup and the online gallery. Compare what each quote covers, not only the hourly figure.
Do your photo booth prices include delivery and setup?
Yes. Delivery, setup and takedown inside the GTA are part of every booth package, along with an attendant for the booked hours.
Are there extra fees I should know about?
Travel outside the GTA, extra hours and decor upgrades such as a flower wall or a branded backdrop are added to the written quote before you book, so the figure you approve is the figure you pay.
Do you offer photo booth packages with decor?
Yes. A shimmer wall with balloons behind any booth starts from $420, and our event packages bundle decor, a booth and entertainment at three levels.
Choosing a booth
What types of photo booths do you rent?
An open-air classic print booth, a 360 video booth, a full-length mirror booth and an audio guest book. Any of them can be branded for a corporate event.
Which photo booth is right for my event?
Mixed ages and keepsake prints: the classic booth. A dance floor and guests who post video: the 360 booth. A formal room and full-length photos: the mirror booth. Messages instead of photos: the audio guest book.
What is the difference between a photo booth and a 360 booth?
A photo booth takes still photos and usually prints them; a 360 booth films a short video while a camera circles the guests on a platform, and sends the clip to their phones.
What does open-air photo booth mean?
An open-air booth has no enclosure or curtain. Guests stand in front of a backdrop facing the camera, so larger groups fit in the frame and the backdrop becomes part of the decor.
Which photo booth works for a large guest list?
For 200 guests or more, book three or four hours, or run the classic booth and the 360 booth together so the lines stay short.
Which photo booth fits a small venue?
The classic and mirror booths need about 8 x 8 ft and one outlet, so they fit restaurants and condo party rooms where a 360 platform would not.
Do photo booths come with props?
The classic booth includes a prop table themed to the occasion. Props are optional on the mirror and 360 booths, and you can ask for none at all.
Can we have prints and video at the same event?
Yes. Book the classic booth for prints and the 360 booth for clips, placed in different parts of the room, each with its own attendant.
Weddings
Is a photo booth worth it at a wedding?
For most weddings, yes: it gives guests something to do between dinner and dancing, and the prints double as favours and a guest book. Couples with a short guest list or a long seated dinner sometimes prefer the audio guest book.
When should the photo booth run at a wedding?
Cocktail hour and the early reception for a classic or mirror booth; once the dance floor opens for a 360 booth. Avoid the speeches, the first dance and the cake cutting.
Which photo booth suits a wedding reception?
The classic booth for prints and a guest book, the mirror booth for formal rooms and full-length photos, and the 360 booth for the dance floor. Many couples combine two.
Can the photo booth prints match our wedding invitation?
Yes. We design the overlay from your invitation, colours or monogram and send a proof to approve before the wedding.
What can we have instead of a photo booth at a wedding?
An audio guest book, a flower wall photo spot or a styled backdrop with marquee letters gives guests a photo moment without a booth. We design all three.
Will the photo booth compete with the speeches or first dance?
Not if the hours are planned with your timeline. Send us the run of the day and we set the booth hours around the formalities.
Corporate events
Do you rent photo booths for corporate events in Toronto?
Yes. Holiday parties, launches, conferences, galas and appreciation events book branded classic, mirror and 360 booths with us across Toronto and the GTA.
Can a photo booth carry our company logo?
Yes. Your logo goes on every print or clip through a custom overlay, and the backdrop or step-and-repeat behind the guests can carry it too.
What photo booth works for a trade show or brand activation?
The 360 booth for shareable video at an activation, and the classic or mirror booth inside a 10 x 10 ft exhibit space at a trade show.
Can you handle loading docks and security at office venues?
Yes. Tell us the dock booking, freight elevator, security sign-in and on-site contact, and we plan the load-in around them.
How early should a company book a holiday party photo booth?
December dates fill first. Book in October or early November for mid-December evenings, and at least two weeks ahead for the 360 booth.
Parties and celebrations
Is a photo booth good for a birthday party?
Yes. The classic booth with props suits children and mixed ages; the 360 booth suits milestone birthdays, Sweet 16s and adult parties where guests dance.
Can young children use the photo booths?
Yes, with an adult beside younger children. The classic booth is the simplest for small children, and our attendant guides how many people use the 360 platform at once.
Do you bring photo booths to graduations and Sweet 16 parties?
Yes. Both are among the busiest bookings for the 360 booth, with an overlay carrying the name, the school colours or the year.
Can a photo booth be themed for a cultural celebration?
Yes. The overlay, props and backdrop follow the celebration, whether it is Diwali, Eid, Nowruz, Lunar New Year or a mehndi night.
Can we pair a photo booth with kids entertainment?
Yes. A booth runs well alongside face painting, balloon twisting or a magic show, as long as the timing is staggered so the children are not split between two things at once.
Do you rent photo booths for New Year’s Eve and holiday parties?
Yes. New Year’s Eve and December holiday parties are busy dates for the 360 booth and the classic booth, with an overlay carrying the year or the party name.
Can the photo booth be booked with a DJ?
Yes. Our event DJs can announce the booth and supply the soundtrack for the 360 clips, and we plan both on one schedule.
Do you rent photo booths for baby showers and bridal showers?
Yes. Showers usually book the classic or mirror booth in front of a flower wall or a balloon backdrop in the shower colours.
Venue and setup
How much space does a photo booth need?
About 8 x 8 ft for the classic or mirror booth and a clear circle of about 10 x 10 ft for the 360 booth, each with one standard power outlet nearby and a little room for the queue.
What does the venue need to provide for a photo booth?
A level spot of the right size, a standard power outlet within reach and access for our team to load in before the event and out afterwards. We bring the booth, lighting, backdrop and printer.
Where should a photo booth go in the venue?
Visible from the main room, near the bar or the dance floor, and out of the path to the kitchen, washrooms and exits.
Can a photo booth be set up outdoors?
Yes, under a tent or a solid roof with power and on a level surface. Booths do not run in rain, and the 360 platform does not run on grass.
Can you put a background behind the photo booth?
Yes. Every classic booth comes with a backdrop, and any booth can stand in front of one of our flower walls, shimmer walls or balloon backdrops.
Which backdrop works well behind a photo booth?
A backdrop with texture and your colours, such as a flower wall, a shimmer wall or a balloon garland, photographs better than a flat sheet. For a 360 booth, decorate the whole corner because the camera sees all of it.
Can we see backdrop options before booking?
Yes. Our decor pages and the portfolio show flower walls, shimmer walls and balloon backdrops we have built, and at the concept stage we suggest the backdrop that suits your colours and room.
Can the booth go upstairs or into a condo party room?
Usually, yes. Tell us about stairs, elevators and the booking rules for the party room so we bring the right booth and plan the load-in.
Booking and the photos
How far in advance should I book a photo booth in Toronto?
Two to four weeks for most dates, and at least two weeks for the 360 booth. Summer wedding weekends and December holiday parties book first.
How do I book a photo booth with Event Creation?
Send your date, venue, guest count and preferred hours through the contact form, by phone at (416) 230-9723 or by email to Info@EventCreation.ca. We confirm the booth and send a written quote.
How quickly do you reply to a photo booth inquiry?
After a form submission we contact you within 24 hours, and you can call us seven days a week between 9 am and 9 pm.
Can I book a photo booth for this week?
Ask us. If a booth is free on your date we can often make it work, but the 360 booth normally needs two weeks of notice.
Is an attendant included with every booth?
Yes. Every booth comes with an attendant who sets up, runs the booth for the booked hours, helps guests and packs up at the end.
How do guests get their photos?
Print booths print on the spot, and guests can send a digital copy to their phone by text, email or QR code at the booth. The 360 booth sends clips the same way.
Do we get all the photos after the event?
Yes. You receive the online gallery or event album with every photo and clip, usually within 24 hours.
