Home gatherings in Scarborough, Mississauga, Etobicoke, Vaughan and Markham use the living room for a backdrop and the dining table for the dessert display, set up the day before Eid so the house is ready for the first visitors.
Halls and mosque community halls take a stage backdrop, a photo wall and centrepieces for larger celebrations. Outdoor festivals need weighted pieces and a sheltered photo spot.
Because Eid dates follow the lunar calendar, we confirm the date with you and set up the day before where possible.
