Garlands and arches that are designed, not just inflated
A balloon garland is the most flexible piece of balloon decoration you can book. It wraps a doorway, frames a dessert table, climbs one side of a backdrop or runs the full length of a head table. An arch takes the same organic style and gives it a frame, so it stands on its own in the middle of a room or at an entrance where there is nothing to attach to.
Event Creation designs both for parties, showers, weddings and corporate events across Toronto and the GTA. Every garland is built from a mix of balloon sizes, from 5 inch fillers to 36 inch statement balloons, in the colours you choose. Matte, chrome, pearl and confetti finishes can be combined in the same piece.

Which shape suits your room
Organic garland
The garland is a long, flowing cluster that follows whatever it is attached to. It is the right choice when you already have a wall, a backdrop, a table or a staircase and want colour added to it. Twelve feet covers one side of a backdrop or a dessert table; twenty feet frames a full doorway or runs along a head table.
Circle arch frame
A round frame in three heights, 5.5 ft, 6.5 ft and 7.5 ft, dressed with a garland on one side or both. It photographs well from the front and gives guests a clear place to stand. It is the most requested piece for first birthdays, baby showers and engagement parties.
Square stand and full arch
A square stand gives a modern, straight-edged backdrop that suits corporate branding and milestone birthdays. A full entrance arch spans a doorway or a gate so guests walk through the design on the way in.
Half arch
A half arch climbs one side and spills over the top, leaving the other side open. It frames a cake table or a marquee number without hiding it and costs less than a full frame.

Garlands and arches in Toronto venues: what each space can take
Condo party rooms in North York and downtown Toronto usually have ceilings of about eight to nine feet, which suits a 5.5 ft or 6.5 ft arch and a 12 ft garland. Banquet halls in Vaughan, Mississauga and Markham have the height for a 7.5 ft frame and the width for a 20 ft garland across a stage.
Restaurants rarely allow anything attached to walls, so a free-standing arch or a garland built on our own stand is the usual answer. Backyards and parks need a frame that is weighted against wind; our outdoor arches use sandbag bases and we avoid helium outdoors.
If you are not sure what fits, send a photo of the room with the ceiling in frame. We size the design to the space rather than asking you to guess.

For a first birthday or a baby shower, a circle arch in soft pastels with a custom name balloon is the piece everyone photographs. Milestone birthdays pair a half arch with 4 ft marquee numbers in black, gold or chrome.
Weddings and engagement parties usually call for a garland on a floral or shimmer backdrop rather than a full balloon arch, so the balloons stay secondary to the flowers. Corporate events and grand openings take the square stand in brand colours with a logo panel in the centre.

What is the difference between a balloon arch and a balloon garland?
A garland is the flowing cluster of balloons itself; an arch is a garland built onto a frame so it stands on its own. If you have something to attach to, book a garland. If the piece needs to stand in open space or at an entrance, book an arch.
How long does a balloon garland last?
Air-filled garlands, which is what we build for arches and backdrops, hold their shape for days indoors and often longer. Heat, direct sun and wind shorten that, which is why outdoor pieces are installed as close to the start time as the venue allows.
Can I make a balloon arch myself instead?
A small garland is a realistic DIY project if you have a few hours, a pump and somewhere to hang it. A frame arch that has to stand straight, survive a room full of guests and look right in photos is harder than it looks, which is why most people book the frame and the installation together.
Do your prices include delivery, installation and takedown?
The arch and stand listings include delivery, installation and takedown. The garland listing includes delivery and installation, and the listing notes that these may vary with the event’s location and time. Your written quote states exactly what is covered.
Which areas do you install garlands and arches in?
Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill and Oakville, with most installations within the GTA. Ask about dates outside those areas and we will confirm.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can once the date and venue are fixed. Weekends from May to October and the weeks around Christmas and New Year fill first. Last-minute requests are sometimes possible; call and we will tell you straight away.
Can the arch be installed outdoors?
Yes, with the right base. Outdoor arches use weighted stands and air-filled balloons, and we choose finishes that handle sun better. We will ask about shade, wind and a backup indoor spot before confirming an outdoor install.
Can you match my theme or brand colours?
Yes. Send a photo, a swatch or a hex code and we match the balloon colours as closely as the available stock allows. Printed names, ages and logos can be added to statement balloons inside the design.
Do you leave the frame for the event?
Yes. The frame stays in place for the full event and we collect it at takedown. For venues that need the room cleared the same night, we schedule the takedown time with the venue when we confirm the booking.
