Event Creation designs and installs stage decor for weddings, engagement and mehndi events, quinceañeras, galas, conferences and corporate parties across Toronto and the GTA. Backdrops, draping, florals, balloons, signage and furniture are planned as one picture with the lighting the venue or your AV team provides.

Venues
Stages in banquet halls, hotels and community centres
Banquet halls in Vaughan, Mississauga, Scarborough and Markham usually have a permanent stage between 16 and 30 ft wide; we design to the width so the backdrop does not stop short. Hotel ballrooms downtown often have no stage, so we bring risers or build the design at floor level.
Community centres and places of worship have their own rules for what can stand on a stage and for how long; we check them before we quote.
Lighting changes everything on a stage. We coordinate with the venue or your AV company on uplighting and spots so the florals read in photos.

Occasions
Stages for weddings, cultural celebrations, galas and corporate events
Weddings and engagements are the main occasion, with mehndi and sangeet stages in bright florals and draping. Quinceañeras and Sweet 16s use a sweetheart stage in the dress colour.
Galas and award ceremonies, conferences and corporate holiday parties use a branded or draped stage. Graduations and retirement parties take a simpler backdrop with a sign.
Diwali, Eid and Lunar New Year community events use stage decor in the colours of the celebration.

How much does stage decoration cost in Toronto?
Stages are quoted as one design by width, backdrop type, florals, draping and furniture. Send the stage size and the occasion and we send a written quote with a starting price.
Can you decorate a stage in a banquet hall?
Yes. We work with halls across the GTA, design to the stage width and coordinate the setup window with the hall.
What if the venue has no stage?
We bring risers or build the design at floor level. See the dance floor and staging page for riser rentals.
Do you provide the lighting?
We coordinate with the venue or your AV company so the design is lit well. Lighting rentals can be arranged as part of the quote.
Can the stage design include a sweetheart seat?
Yes. A loveseat or two chairs on a riser with a backdrop, florals and a sign is a common request.
Fresh or silk flowers on a stage?
Silk for a full backdrop that stands all day; fresh for focal clusters at an evening event. Many stages mix both.
Can you add our logo or names?
Yes. Logo panels, acrylic signs and neon signs mount on the backdrop.
How long does stage setup take?
Two to four hours for most designs, longer for full draping. We confirm the window with the venue.
Which areas do you serve?

How far ahead should I book?
Four to eight weeks for weddings and galas; sooner is better for peak season.
