A kids’ party needs a look and a plan
Children’s parties fail in two ways: the room looks like a bag of supplies was emptied into it, or the children have nothing to do after the first ten minutes. Event Creation handles both. The decor gives the room a theme and a photo wall; the entertainment gives the children a schedule.
We design kids’ birthdays for ages two to twelve at homes, condo party rooms, halls and play centres across Toronto and the GTA. A 12 ft balloon garland is listed on this website from $250, a balloon wall from $380, face painting from $220 and a magic show from $305.
One message covers the decor, the entertainer and the cake table, so you are not coordinating three vendors.

Colour-led themes
Dinosaur greens, mermaid teals, princess pinks, superhero primaries, space navy and silver: the theme’s colours in balloons, a backdrop and a sign, without licensed artwork, so the room looks designed rather than bought.
The photo wall
A balloon wall, a shimmer wall or a green wall with the child’s name and age, where every family takes the same great photo.
The cake table
A garland over the cake table with plinths for desserts and a number balloon.
Entertainment in the middle
A magic show or bubble show timed between the games and the cake, or a face painter at the door.

Venues
Parties at home, in party rooms, halls and play centres
Home parties in Vaughan, Markham and Scarborough use the living room for the photo wall and the basement or backyard for the entertainment. Condo party rooms downtown and in North York take a backdrop and a show with the children seated.
Halls and community centres in Mississauga and Richmond Hill give space for a bouncy castle, a show and a dessert table at once. Play centres usually allow decor on the party table and a character visit.
We check the ceiling height, the access time and whether balloons and inflatables are allowed before we quote.

You approve the concept and the quote. We hold the date, book the pieces and coordinate access with the venue.

Our team installs decor, florals and backdrops, places signage and checks every photo angle before guests arrive.

Event and takedown
We stay as agreed, manage the timeline where that is part of the plan and remove everything afterwards.

Entertainment
Matching the entertainment to the age
Two to four: a bubble show, a character and gentle face painting. Five to eight: a magic show, balloon twisting and games with a host. Nine to twelve: a bouncy castle, a 360 booth and a DJ for the older ones.
Every entertainer is briefed on the ages and the schedule, and arrives early enough to set up without the children noticing.

How much does a kids’ birthday party cost to decorate in Toronto?

Can you do a themed party without licensed characters?
Yes, and it looks better. We build the theme from its colours, shapes and a custom sign, and book an original character performer inspired by the theme for the visit.
How do I keep the children entertained for two hours?
Face painting or a twister at the door, games with a host, a show in the middle, then cake. We schedule it so nothing overlaps.
How many children can you handle?
Any number. For more than about 15 we add a second entertainer so the line stays short.
Can you decorate a party room or play centre?
Yes, within the venue’s rules. We confirm the room booking window and what can be set up.
Do you provide goodie bags?
Yes. Themed bags with items chosen for the age; see party favours.
Can the party be outdoors?
Yes. Backyard parties take a bouncy castle, a tent and air-filled balloons, with shade for the entertainer.
How long does setup take?
About 60 to 90 minutes for decor; inflatables and entertainment are timed to the party start.
