The occasion
Nowruz is spring, renewal and the haft-seen table at the centre
Nowruz, the Persian New Year at the spring equinox, is celebrated by Iranian, Afghan, Kurdish, Tajik and other communities across Toronto and the GTA with family gatherings, community events and the haft-seen table. The decor starts from that table and the colours of spring: greens, whites, golds and the red of the goldfish and the apples.
Event Creation designs Nowruz celebrations at homes, halls and community venues. We style the haft-seen table with its seven items where you supply them, build a spring floral or balloon backdrop for family photos, and add centrepieces, signage and music. A 12 ft balloon garland is listed on this website from $250, a green wall backdrop with balloons from $380 and floral designs are quoted as one piece.
We work bilingually in English and Farsi, so the brief can be in either.

Venues
Nowruz at home, in halls and at community events
Home gatherings in North York, Richmond Hill, Vaughan and Thornhill use the living room for the haft-seen and a backdrop for photos. Halls and community centres take a stage, a backdrop and centrepieces for larger celebrations and concerts.
Community events in Toronto and Richmond Hill book a stage design, entrance decor and a photo wall. Sizdah Bedar picnics need weighted, outdoor-safe pieces.
We confirm each venue’s setup window and rules before we quote.
